In the first coordination meeting of the Sooran Healthy city program, which was held in the presence of the governor and other city officials and NGOs the following issues were discussed :

- Considering that Sooran is one of the 11 candidate cities in the country to receive the Healthy City Certificate from the World Health Organization, in order to receive this valid certificate and promote health in the city, it needs the full support of all organs, NGOs, charities to witness a healthy city.

The steps to be taken in this regard are as follows:

- Intersectoral Collaboration of related organizations

Forming sub-working groups with the participation of related departments including governorate, district, health center, municipality, city council, environment, agricultural jihad, sports and youth, mobilization, Red Crescent, non-governmental organizations, applied law enforcement, university of applied sciences, donors and health volunteers include the requirements of a healthy city program

- Political support and commitment 

- Public participation and social interactions between groups in society

- Prioritize health in all policies
