The booklet of the structure and criteria of the Maragheh Healthy City Plan was compiled with the participation of all the specialized committees of the Plan. In order to compile this booklet, first of all, the guidelines of the World Health Organization for the Eastern Mediterranean Region regarding the Healthy Cities were reviewed by the Secretariat of the Maragheh Healthy City Plan and the 80 indicators (criteria) included in this guideline were translated into Persian.

In the next step, meetings were held with each of the specialized committees of the Maragheh Healthy City Plan, and during those meetings, eighty indicators of the Plan were reviewed by the committee members, and those indicators that were related to the mission and goals of each committee were determined.

The 80 indicators were determined separately for each committee and compiled in a booklet along with the structure, description of duties and the list of member organizations of each committee.

It should be noted that a number of indicators were included in several committees according to their nature. Also, some indicators were considered under the direct responsibility of the Maragheh Safe and Safe City Program Secretariat.

​ Regarding the members appointed for each committee, it is also necessary to mention that members from other organizations can also be present in the committees as permanent or temporary members according to the agenda of the meetings.
