The meeting of the policy-making council of Maragheh Healthy and Safe City Plan was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Ali Azizi, the respected political and social deputy of Maragheh special city governorate.

Due to the fact that the Maragheh Healthy City Plan is being visited by national and international organizations, the importance of coordinating the performance of the specialized committees of the Plan is becoming more apparent. This meeting was held for the purpose of planning for the implementation of the self-evaluation of the specialized committees of the Plan. In this meeting, the self-evaluation program was presented to the heads of the committees, and the date of the self-evaluation, as well as the members of the expert team for the self-evaluation, were also determined, and the opinions of the heads of the committees were obtained.

Maragheh safe and healthy city plan is under the high supervision of Maragheh city governorate and includes 7 specialized committees headed by welfare, Red Crescent, Municipality, Education and Training, Health Affairs of Maragheh University of Medical Sciences, and police force.

The secretariat of Maragheh Healthy and Safe city Plan in interaction with the governor, Health Affairs of Maragheh University of Medical Sciences and the secretaries of other specialized committees is responsible for the management and technical and executive supervision of the performance of the specialized committees.
