The specialized committees of Maragheh Healthy City Plan carried out self-evaluation. Following the meeting of the Maragheh Healthy City Plan Policy Council, which was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Ali Azizi, the governor's political and social meaning, and with the presence of the heads and secretaries of the specialized committees, the members of the self-evaluation team were determined and the timetable for the self-evaluation of the committees was finalized.

The self-evaluation checklist based on the 80 criteria of the Healthy City Plan was compiled by the secretariat of the Maragheh Healthy City Plan and provided to the committees to be the basis of the self-evaluation. Then, each of the specialized committees held a meeting with the presence of other committee members and evaluated their last two-year performance based on the timetable.

The secretary of Maragheh Healthy City Plan was also present in all meetings as a facilitator of self-evaluation. The self-evaluation results of each committee, together with the two-year performance documentation, were prepared in the form of a file to be available to the visitors of the Maragheh Healthy City Plan, who were scheduled to visit Maragheh on December 12. In fact, this self-assessment was carried out by the officials of the Office of Education and Health Promotion, the Office of the World Health Organization in Iran, and the consultants of the World Health Organization for the preparation of the committees for the visit of the Maragheh Healthy City Plan on December 12.
